Are you ready to show off the “Six” in you? Cylon Six that is; if so take a look at this!!!!! Anovos has recreated the “Little Red Dress” that made Tricia “#6” Helfer the most famous Cylon in the Battlestar Galactica Universe. As with many of Anovos screen accurate offerings, these little red dresses will be very limited.
Tricia “#6” Helfer, (Re-imagined Battlestar Galactica) will be racing the streets of Long Beach California as part of the ProCelebrity Grande Prix April 12, 2014. This is Tricia’s first time behind the wheel of a 210-horsepower Scion FR-S race-prepped car. I highly recommend anyone living near Long Beach to attend the event!!!!!! (Photos curiosity Tricia’s twitter page, Event information curiosity of Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, CA) Add two photos.
Attention on deck! Happy Birthday Dan Allen! May the FARCE be with you!

When Ronald D. Moore Decided To Do The Re-Imagining Of BSG, He Chose To Base It On Greek,Rather Than Egyptian Mythology,As TOS Was Based On; He Chose Well, As The Historical Greek Battles Are More Known Than Those Of Ancient Egypt; And, There Are Suprising Parallels To The 12 Colonies, And The Greek City-States:
In The Ancient Greek World, There were Just A Collection Of City-States, Not A United Country; The Largest Of These Were Athens,And Sparta; The Twelve Colonies Were Not United At First, The Biggest Players Were Caprica,And Tauron.
The Twelve Colonies Did Not unite As a Single government Until Mid-way Through the First Cylon War; The Greek City-States Did Not Unite Until The Persian Invasion.
In Both Cases, Both Greece And The Twelve Colonies Suffered Many Dead, And Loss Of Territory; However, Both Were Able To Turn The Tide, And Turn Back The Invaders.
In Seeing The Films '300', And Soon, '300: Rise Of an Empire' , There Are A Lot Of Things That Can Be Taken Into The BSG-RDM World; Including, A Defector: As Baltar Unwittingly Aided The Cylons, The Hero Of The Battle Of Artemisium , The Athenian General Themistocles Would Later Defect To The Persian Empire(According To Wikipedia), Even Though He Is Still A Hero In Greece,Equal To that Of Leonidas Of Sparta.
And The Persian Forces Boasted Vast Numbers, As Did the Cylons.
So, For Those Of Us Going To See This Film, We Intend To Seize Our Glory:So Say we All!
For all you fans of the original Battlestar Galactica...the name "Bojay" instantly brings to mind a certain pilot from the Battlestar Pegasus who along with Lt. Sheba (Anne Lockhart) found themselves added to the cast of Battlestar Galactica with the two part episode "The Living Legend" starring of course Lloyd Bridges as the legendary Commander Cain.
That being said, the pilot in question...or rather the actor portraying him is none other than Jack Stauffer...for viewers of televsion from the 70s on saw this man's face over and over again...and I don't mean just vintage television either (if you can call 70s or 80s television "vintage") I myself cannot, but I digress...from his start on the soap "All My Children" (not his absolute start, but his first big turn on television...well the credits run loooong...from over 250 commercials...and do I dare do it?
Yes I dare....
I'm going to list all those television credits just to give all of you the scoop on the scope!
Arrest and Trial
Melrose Place
Lois and Clark
Viper
Designing Women
Quantum Leap
FBI-Untold Stories
Perfect Strangers
Growing Pains
DEA-The Series
Out of This World
Mancuso FBI
New Dragnet
New Brady's
Jake and the Fat Man
Scarecrow and Mrs. King
Sonny Spoon
Knotts Landing
Dynasty
How the West Was Won
Highway to Heaven
Fall Guy
Hawaii 5-0
Most Wanted
Harry O
Counter Attack
Rockford Files
General Hospital
Days of Our Lives
Santa Barbara
Family
Bionic Woman
Medical Story
Barnaby Jones
Streets of San Francisco
Three For the Road
Divorce Court
The Partridge Family
THOSE are just the television shows (including Battlestar Galactica of course).
I haven't even touched movies of the week, pilots, feature films or his stage work.
And, that leads into the title..."Jack's Back" right?
Well, for the last couple of years Mr. Stauffer has been devoting his attention to the aforementioned stage (directing & acting) and has found much success with that...however it took him out of Los Angeles and the bright lights of Hollywood...till..now.
Actually the last month saw him return to L.A. to film the short 'Sons of Guns"...did he portray a pilot? nope...did he portray a scientist...no. How about a Priest...uh-uh.
How about a...a psychotic antique weapons dealer?!?
Yes believe it or not...that was the part he was playing in this this film...but who says he always has to play the nice guy.
The film was directed by Tanner Boyajian for Dark Burn Media...so you want to catch that at upcoming film festivals and hopefully online soon.
Hey if you don't believe me, here are the pictures to prove it!
I never thought Jack could look so menacing...
Go find Jack at his site website at jackstauffer.com and you can also check out Dark Burn media at darkburnmedia.com
Keep the home fires burning & most importanly KEEP THE FAITH!
This Guide will show you how I made my BDU and where to get all the parts.
Where to buy everything
Shirt:
I got the 2 pocket BDU shirt but I would recommend getting the 4 pocket one because the 2 extra pockets will come in handy when you do the pants.

Double Tanks
For the double tanks I'm giving you a few options so that you can decide which one you desire to buy depending on your budget. I got the ones from Thinkgeek and they are very comfortable. If you want to buy one thats not really expensive check the last two links.
Boots
For the boots I just used military boots that I already had and I would also recommend that you do that but if you are looking for the boots that they used on the show they are called Gall 8" Toe Zipper Boots but sadly they stopped production on those so the link I gave you is the closest I could find.

4 - 1 inch gold painted Stealth Side-release buckles

Belt
When ordering the belt get it green with the buckle painted gold.

Patch
The link I gave is where I personally think is the best place to get patches.

Rank Pins
There are a bunch of choices when ordering rank pins. I'm giving several options so that you can decide which one you desire to buy depending on your budget. I got the ones from ebay because Anovos is way too expensive and the shipping to Canada for alchemy arms is also expensive. The ebay are very good and they look exactly like the ones from anovos except they don't come in a presentation case and take about 4 weeks of shipping.

Make Sure that you read both version because there are differences between the older and the newer versions of the tutorial. Also make sure that before you sew anything on that you properly pin it down so that it does not move and make sure that they are in the right positions before you sew it down. If you do make a mistake it isn't the end of the world you can always rip it off and sew it back on.
Last of all remember that you don't need to buy everything at the same time and to take your time with it and remember that if you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comment section below and I will try to answer to the best of my abilities.
Colonials,
We Are Pleased To report That 'Planet T', A Planet That Was Once A Fuel Source For The Cylons, Is No More!
Thanks To The Combined Efforts Of The Raven,Her MARDET,And Her Air Wing, We Have Made Pretty Much Dried up This 'Gas Pump' For The Toasters!
We Would Like To Thank BGen. Bill Mills, The Fifth Fleet, And Rampart Station For Their Valuable Assistance; They Managed To Cut off An End-Around Cylon Counterattack, So We Could Take Care Of Business, And Get Out Safe.
We Did,However, Take A Few Casualties: Two Pilots Lost, And A Few Marines Wounded; But Rest Assured, Their Sacrifice Was Not in Vain; And, Here Are The Results:
EXPLOSION OPENING UP VOLCANO TWO
This Was Instrumental In Creating A Hole From Which A Nuclear Cruise Missile Could Fly Into, And Begin The Chain Reaction Which The End Result Was This:
This Photo Was Taken Just Before The Raven Jumped Clear.
So, As Long As We Keep Hitting the Cylons In Sensitive Places Like This, No matter How Many Copies They Make, We Will Still Keep Knocking Them Down!
SO SAY WE ALL!

2-22-2014 PLANET “T” Elimination Mission
Hi Everyone,
Planning a mission of this magnitude takes research to make it believable that it could have taken place in the BSG Universe. Even though there was available information about Planet “T;” Sgt Paul “Iceworm” Oakley and Col. Keith “Leonidas” Ranson were required to work out the details before the crew of the Battlestar Raven could perform the mission. The next hurdle is to choose a date that best fits in everyone’s schedule that would like to take part of the event.
One of our goals aboard the Raven is to keep as many crew members as possible interested and active so they don’t just become a name on a roster in a fan club. Anyone can compile a list of names to give the illusion of a great place for a given set of fans to join and have fun interacting with like minded individuals. It’s much different to actually have such a place where fans truly have fun.
We will continue to strive to achieve our goal until the Battlestar Raven is a reflection of an actual Battlestar operating in the BSG Universe.
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!

Happy Birthday to the Commander and Teacher, he who portrays great heroes, and is a great hero.
PARTNERS IN CRIME FOREVER FROM THE START! THERE IS NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT!
I do not know what to give someone that already has everything on his birthday especially when it comes to science fiction. Someone that constantly loves to text me everytime he is able to get his hands on a rare science fiction prop to add to his already enormous collection because he knows how much I drool over those rare props . One of these days like I told him on the side, I will visit his HQ and maybe "borrow" some for my collection ;-) :-)
Well before I get to the point of my post here, I just want to say something here first. No formality here ( I am not speaking as the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club Vice President or CO of the Raven). Just speaking to a friend one on one. And for those that knows me, I DO NOT call everyone a friend unless they have earned my friendship!
First off, I wanted to thank you Miguel in public for being there for me the moment my grandmother died. You were the first person I spoke over the phone outside my immediate family when she died. And that is the first time I have shed tears over the phone because I could not hold back my tears of sorrow anymore. You know how much my grandmother meant to me because she raise me. Just being a good friend who was there to listen was what I needed at that time. That is why I am honored that you have made me your adopted sister. Something I never imagine our friendship would evolve too. The only thing I can give you back in return for being the friend that you have been to me, is my everlasting friendship. Someone that will be there to always watch your back like a little sister would ;-) There are lot of things money can buy! And there are also a lot things money cannot buy! And one of them is TRUE FRIENDSHIP! And that is what I promise to give you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRASH! And you know I will get you back for calling me "old " over the phone today because I called you old too. Hey, I am younger than you still and with more hair! Don't ever forget that! HAHAH! ;-) :-) I hope you enjoyed your flight on Cessna for your birthday! Be safe and see you around the BFC site! And like I told you over the phone today, I owe you dinner the next time we see each other whenever or wherever it will be. And you owe your version of ambrosia like the one we didn't get the chance to do during Galacticon 3. ;-)
Your friend forever,
Cherry "DragonLady"
