Battlestar Galactica Fan Club Leadership Succession Protocol (AMENDED)
The Battlestar Galactica Fan Club LLC follows a structured leadership succession plan to ensure continuity and stability within its organization. This hierarchy is designed to provide clear guidance on the transfer of leadership roles, preserving the integrity and mission of the club.
I. President:
The President of the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club LLC holds the highest authority and responsibility within the organization. This individual is charged with overseeing all club activities, strategic planning, and representing the club to external entities. The President ensures that the club remains true to its goals and fosters a sense of community among its members.
II. Vice President:
The Vice President is the second-in-command and assumes the President's duties in their absence. This role involves supporting the President in various administrative tasks, coordinating events, and managing internal operations. The Vice President is groomed to potentially succeed the President, ensuring a smooth transition when the time comes.
III. Deputy Vice President:
The Deputy Vice President is the third in the line of succession. This individual assists both the President and Vice President in their duties, gaining valuable experience and insight into the club's operations. The Deputy Vice President is also responsible for specific projects or initiatives as assigned by the President or Vice President, contributing to the club's growth and development.
Rights of Succession:
The standard protocol for leadership succession within the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club LLC follows a linear progression: from President to Vice President to Deputy Vice President. This clear chain of command is designed to maintain order and ensure that the club's leadership is experienced and well-prepared to assume higher responsibilities.
However, it is crucial to note that while this hierarchical structure is the typical method for selecting new leaders, the President of the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club LLC retains the ultimate authority in choosing their successor. This right is irrevocable and allows the President to appoint an individual outside the standard line of succession if deemed necessary.
Presidential Discretion in Leadership Selection:
The President's prerogative to select a successor is rooted in the belief that leadership should not be bound solely by position but also by capability and vision for the club's future. The President may choose someone not in the immediate line of succession if they believe that individual is the right fit for the role and in the best interest of the club's continued growth and success.

Should the presidential successor fail to fulfill their duties effectively, endanger the club's legacy and its members, bring dishonor to the organization, or deviate from the vision established by their predecessor, the former president and or owner, retains the right to remove them from office. The ownership of the club may also be transferred by the former president if he or she so wishes to their successor, but this is NOT required. He or she may maintain ownership of the site. In such a case, the previous president is authorized to appoint a new successor, ensuring the preservation of the club's integrity and the continuation of its mission by exercising his or her rights as the owner of the club and or take back the presidency until a new successor can be appointed.
