A couple of years ago I got a message from a group called Wildlife Media...a group headed up by Bear biologist Chris Morgan...
It so happened that they were working on a film called Beartrek (about Bears) of course & had approached Bear McCreary to see if he might be interested in supplying some music for the film.
They really like his stuff & well, his name IS Bear...
They wanted to get the word out about the film & Bear referred them…Continue

"Groups" can be found in the red link list above just under the Fan Club logo and above the "So Say We All" banner. The sixty or so Groups are Chapters, Ship Chapters, and Sub-Chapter Groups cover many areas. And the Leadership is open to adding more if you have a good idea. You can join several Groups and…Continue
Attention all pilots of the Raven Air Wing. There is another website for the Battlestar Raven, battlestarravenbfc-002, that gives more information about the RAW and it's squadrons. If you have not already done so, check it out, it is worth a look.
Aeneas, Perseus Squadron Leader
Following a request for more information about the Viper mkVII, the CAG, Lt. Mik Mo Morelake has found the following.
Colonial Viper mkVII.
The Viper mkVII is the most modern starfighter used by the CDF for space and air superiority. It is a single seat fighter, slightly larger than the mkII, but still small enough to fit a Battlestar's launch tubes. In addition to it's fighting role it can also be used for recon, anti-ship and air to ground…Continue
Hello to all new Colonial citizens and warriors. My name is Tony Carvell, Ensign in the Raven Air Wing, and I wish to impart a few pearls of wisdom to you all. I joined the BFC via the Internet where I came across the Battlestar Raven website, a few years ago. There was the recruiting poster of Commander Adama saying "enlist now", so I did. I then also joined Perseus Squadron as a Viper pilot. On my personal page the BFC crest duly appeared, overlaid with the Raven crest. All well and good…Continue

When I got out of the academy on picon, they assigned me to the battlestar themistocles;I found myself the driver of A gently used Viper Mk.III with thor squadron;I had qualified in the Mk.II,but, I found this quite an upgrade! Even as A nugget, this was just too good! Thor squadron raised A lot of hell with the cylons; This is where I bagged my first 17 confirmed kills.
When I moved on to the Battlestar Raven(where I transitioned to the Mk. VII),the chief of the themistocles promised…Continue

I have a few announcements that I think will be of great interest to you all.
First of all, I need to reinforce a policy that we have always had in place here at the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club. This has never been an issue, but I felt a need to restate our position on this...specifically membership in this organization.
The position of the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club is this: We do not & never will discriminate against any potential or current…Continue

My apologies for the delay in getting a message out to you all...I have been traveling the last few days, plus it has taken me a bit of time to wrap my head around what happened this past week.
As you all know, Richard Hatch passed away this past Tuesday February 7th.
Again, it is something that took me a few days to adjust to & to even actually believe...I'm sure you all have felt the same way.
I will tell you that I will miss him…Continue
