Battlestar Raven would just like to wish Crew Member Moses E. Hart, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY here at Battlestar Galactica Fan Club. We hope you have a great one.
SO SAY WE ALL!
We must always remember the brave men and women in uniform, military and first responders, who put themselves in harms way every day. They deserve our respect, our thanks and our support. They truly make this the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Attention all Raven Personnel!
The Raven will continue to run its lights at 50% until Monday December 24th, as so ordered by Colonial One here at Battlestar Galactica Fan Club, as a continued show of respect to those lives lost at Newtown, CT.
So Say We All!

Stellar con at UNC-G campus was 2 days of slow meet and greets with the Uss serenity while I was there both days between 10-1430 hrs. Once again I was the only Colonial at the entire even .It was mostly Anime creatures it seemed . The USS serenity CO J Darnell and the SFMC DOIC MCapt. R Presson were the only two there both days manning their fan table besides me . While it is a 2 day con as East gate was only a 1 day event Stellar was run by the science fiction federation club on the university's campus after not being held for many years due to fiances and no interest in any one doing it.
I did make contact with the student organizer who saw the uniform I was in and asked if I could try to reach out to any BSG groups in the area if there were any that might be interested in attending next year. I only said I would see what I can do. Only group I can reach out to close by is the Gunstar in Fayetteville NC. SO GSO might be a bit far for Adm. Ranson and the rest of the crew to get to a con for two days. At least its out there when I speak to him. The final call is his to make. in all it was a fairly run con with many vendors , artists and things going on. I was told they did have a BSG board game in their game room. I did not how ever look in to that.

Here is some more Sci-Fi technology becoming a reality now. Behold:
Plasma Jet Electric Thrusters For Interplanetary Spacecraft! They seem to give much better thrust than the modern and wimpy ion engines. It also looks to be more cost effective, and easily scaled up or down depending on what sort of space craft you are working with.

Cool! Maybe we CAN all have a Viper of our own some day soon!

Words do not even sums up what I really wanted to say here. Today is a very special day to someone that is very Dear to my heart! I really had no idea what to give to this person as a birthday gift that will mean to her more than anything else. And I thought of this one thing that she will never expect coming from me. So I contacted her very good friend Miguel Rivera and ask for his help to make me a one of kind BSG artwork that only him can do since they are good friends of many years. I have watch Miguel and her do phenomenal work on Battlestar Aries. The two of them are one hell of a team together on the Aries in my humble opinion. So without further ado, I would like to present the following phenomenal artwork done by Miguel Rivera per my request to him, to none other than this special woman. My significant half, DragonLady. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!
The significance of the artwork relayed to me by Miguel are as follows:
- The back ground was kept lively in order to honor her sensibility while complimenting her bright personality.
-The shields in the corners carefully noted are in the same shape of "Superman S" to denote her hard work and integrity. That is the same frame shape that is used on Battlestar Galactica, where all the papers and frame the corners are removed
- He also place the Phoenix logo not only because it looks cool, but most importantly she represent what a Colonial Warrior embodies. Makes him very proud that she has come along way and still learning. But then as we all are.
-The binary numbers represent the ships computers and diagnostic in engineering.
-Next, he included parts of the Galactica hull as a token of good faith as she is a fan like many people out there.
- Lastly and faithfully, he placed two crossed wrenches because you are his Engineer and a good friend of many years.
It was a great honor for him to render this art in her honor of her birthday.
So I attened the Eastgate comic Con Fall show here in Greensboro NC. I made sure I had information Via the different BFC cards I had on the table as well as getting asked questions about the Coins and other things.I did the cosplay contest and won 1st place in the Adult runway in full Battlestar Galactica gear as Major Lee Adama. her are some pics from the day. I was there in support of the Serenity Fleet but made sure BFC was on the table too . More pics will be in my Pics from day.

Hello Everyone,
Just a note. I will be getting the Bear Mc Creary interview out soon. The interview went well. Bear was great, even said hello to a couple of friends for me at the end. I had asked Bear a few questions. One question was about the BSG music scores and visual memories of every moment of a scene that goes along with it. Another was in regards to his decision to compose scores. It's a cool interview, It was nice to meet and talk to the man behind the music of BSG. I'll type up more about that interesting day soon when I get the video squared away.
