Happy Colonial day to one and all. Have fun, but remember..."Safety Third!" Good hunting! So say we ALL!
I wanted to send you all best wishes & to thank you for being with the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club..which I might add had it's 17th anniversary on July 1st!
We here at the Fan Club truly appreciate all of you..it's because you are so involved that we made it to our 17 year mark.
I also want to take the opportunity to thank Cherry Oclima aka DragonLady (who also happens to be the BFC Vice President) & Steven Elliott our Deputy Vice President and all the other members of our leadership staff.
Once again we wouldn't have made it to our 17th year anniversary without the help & creativity that they provide.
By the way everyone, please take a peek at the banner that Cherry put together (which is posted on our Facebook page), I was truly thrilled when I saw it!
Also, please forgive me for posting this note today rather than on the 1st.
As it turned out, my back gave out on me over the weekend, so I've been sidelined...but now at least I can focus on THIS note rather than my back (it is mending).
I still have to quote Dr. Smith from Lost in Space: "My back is VERY delicate today...oh the pain, the pain!"
Getting back to the accolades department I also want to thank Chris Feehan, who is the co-founder of the BFC along with myself.
I especially want to thank Richard Hatch for his input regards our group, he was the one who first suggested that we put the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club together!
So once again, Happy 17th Anniversary to the BFC & to all our members in the United States, Happy July 4th!
