Sounds great David!!! After you get your certificate from Adm Rivera please post it as a photo here on your page to show your commitment to the Raven and the Battlestar Fan Club (BFC).
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!
Hi David,
There is a Raptor manual you can read through and at the end there's an exam you can take to earn your wings. There is also A viper manual that has an exam at the end. The passing grade for the Raptor exam is 70%. If you decide to take the Viper exam and score 100% you will earn your Senior Wings and the "Top Gun" award. A score of 99% earns you Senior Wings and any score less then 99% you would earn Junior Wings.
There is no extra reward for scoring 100% on thee Raptor exam. Although many of us have taken both exams to be all we can be aboard the Battlestar Raven BFC-002.
Here is a link to both manuals: http://battlestarfanclub.com/group/flying-tigers-squadron-logo/foru...
Read through this discussion and at the bottom you will find the manuals in PDF files. The exams are at the end of each manual. I recommend printing the exam only and look at the questions as you read through the manuals. They are open book exams, so I wish you the best.
You do not have to earn your wings before you join the squadron of your choice.
Great Hunting David,
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!
Welcome aboard the Battlestar Raven David, it's great to have you join our crew!!!
I see that your favorite BSG character is Starbuck. I’m a fan of both Old and New Galactica and my favorite character is Starbuck from both series. When it comes to Cylon skin jobs, I’m partial to the 6’s and the 8’s.
I see that you’re interested in becoming a Raptor pilot you couldn’t have come to a better place than the Battlestar Raven BFC-002
There is one Raptor squadron known as the Seekers and six Viper squadrons aboard the Battlestar Raven. You can check all of them out at this link: http://battlestarfanclub.com/groups/group/listByLocation?location=B...
At the present time Seekers, Spartan, Perseus, Hammer, Minotaur and Blackstar squadrons are shorthanded and are looking for more pilots.
The Battlestar Raven is becoming a Battle Group with the addition of the Gunstar Trireme. Gunstar Trireme is looking for crew members as well. Take a look at this link if you’re interested in joining the group: http://battlestarfanclub.com/group/gunstar-trireme-gsr-0201
If becoming a pilot isn’t your style, the Raven has many alternatives. You could join The Marines, Engineering, Security, Sick Bay and more. Take a look at the Ravens web site at this link: www.battlestarraven-bfc-002.com Click on Ship Departments to see everything the Raven has to offer; you’ll be glad you did!!!!! The choice is entirely up to you. Note: Pesently the site was moved to a new server and it’s under construction, but there is a lot to see at the new Raven web site.
I am Major Reamer squadron leader of the Flying Tiger's. I am always looking for a few more Viper pilots to join my group as well.
SO SAY WE ALL! ! ! ! !
"Hello,
I'm Ernie Miller and as the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club Adminstrator of Colonial Affairs,
I welcome you on behalf of the leadership of the BFC.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you on the site"
Welcome
So Say We All !!!!!!
Thanks, and good hunting my friend!
So say we ALL!
:o)
If you are interested, Clash Of Civilizations is a good cross over e-book for Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek. It does have adult content though, so not for the kiddies. Good reading! So say we all! :o) http://www.clashofcivilizations.co/
Great pic! It looks like you've already got a great uniform. If you know any others who are interested in suiting up here are some good sources for affordable uniforms.
