Thanks for the kind words, it was great meeting you too. We wish we'd had more time to spend talking to people but it was a bit of a crazy weekend!!! Awesome meeting so many like minded people. Our new UKBSG group have our first BSG show this weekend and we'll post some pictures next week.
Great Colonial Marine gear thanks for sharing images. It was great to meet you both at Galacticon 3 you both sold your Cosplay characters. Be safe and take care.
Above is the reference shot I used from Propworx. Goggles are Scott some of the propworx ones said that some of them were Scott goggles. Drop leg mag pouch is the same MP5 type as used by the marines on Colonial One during the attempted coup. Don't have a bayonet, bit of an issue in the UK at shows to be carried. The helmet was a lucky find on ebay it was badly listed and a helmet cover on it but said that it was black underneath so I took the risk and punt bidded! Was so pleased when I got it and took the crappy cover off to find it was a matt black one. Paul. I put this together because I really liked your marine that you took to G3 so thanks for the inspiration mate!
Hi Duncan and Tracey, love the pictures. Notice you are close to everyone in your pictures except this Centurion. Never hug a Toaster? By the by, great shot of Duncan in the Colonial Marine post. Super sinister look. Stratford on Avon is missing a star. You nailed it on the Marine gear. Are the goggles Paulson Tactical/Fireman? My helmet looks like yours, a Giro "Bad Lieutenant" snow board unit. Snow boarders don't need vents in their helmets, and it's lighter and cheaper than a tactical piece for a tv budget. Did you go with the K-bar blade? Both that, my M-7 bayonet plus others seem to be used in the show. Nice leg rig on it. It was great seeing you at Galacticon. You both make quite a Team. Thanks for the pics of the littlest, yet formidable, crew member. Best to all, Paul
Sorry we only got to chat to you a couple of times over the weekend....Things were a bit manic for us as you probably noticed...it took us two hours to get from the hall to the bar for lunch!!!!!
