It is finally Friday! HOOAH!!!!!!!!!!! First order of business today is to let people know, if they do not already know, the Gunstar Trireme, Battlestar Raven's 1st Gunstar Escort, has been OFFICIALLY commissioned this past August 2,2015. We did a pre-commissioning ceremony which was officiated by none other than Luciana Carro herself. She was so sweet for doing that.
Good hunting to the crew of Trireme, who is taking her place alongside the Raven as her protector, OFFCIALLY forming the Raven Battle Group. More ships will be commissioned as part of the Raven Battle Group!

I have to say I've been following your new command for a while since you recommended me to become the next CAG aboard the best Battlestar in the Fleet. The Ravens been my home for almost three years now. I originally started out as a Viper pilot in the Spartan Squadron under then Captain Leonidas.
It wasn't long before I was offered my own squadron. I could chose any the Raven had to offer. The moment I laid my eyes on the Flying Tigers I knew that was the squadron for me.
Fast forward to today and I'm now in the CAG position which is something I never thought I would do. As Colonel Leonidas put it, it's been a bumpy road but it was filled with enjoyment and meeting new people and gaining many new friends along the way.
I congratulate you on your first Command Colonel Leonidas. May the Trireme and her brave crew know mighty victories as she serves and fights along side the Battlestar Raven.

I Am Truly Honored,and Privileged to Serve in The Colonial Fleet; When I joined 3 1/2 Years Ago, I felt This would be A Good Place for My Ideas and Imagination;When I was Recruited to the Raven By Dragonlady,I Knew There were People of Quality Here; When She Asked me to Help Build the Raven Air Wing,I Said:
"I'll Take the Job,Until I Get Killed,Or you find Someone Better"
Building the Raven Air Wing,The Finest in the BFC Fleet,Was a steady Process; Yes, Filled with Bumps and Curves and Surprises; But, It got done by Seeking out Like-Minded People who Not only have Imagination, But Enthusiasm as Well; Our Viper and Raptor Squadrons Have gone out and Destroyed Many Cylon Base Ships,Stations,Ground Facilities,Support Systems,Along with Legions of Raiders, Turkeys,and Centurions on the Ground.
However, Giving Credit Where Credit is Due, An Air Wing is Nothing Without the Mother Vessel,The Flagship,The Battlestar Raven; The Officers and Crew of the Fleet Flagship Deserve Credit for Keeping the Raven's Guns, Missiles,FTL, Sublights,and Flight Decks in Checkers Green Condition; Otherwise the Raven would just be A Hunk of Metal,and A Easy Target for the Cylons; This is A Lesson I Take with Me to My New Assignment.
Not one to Rest on My Laurels,I Now Realize that the REAL Work Begins; Managing The Day to Day Operations Will be No Easy Task; However, I Have Chosen To Embrace this Change;And, I Have Every Intention to See that It Becomes A Success.
My Mandate will be to Have the Raven's Back;And that's Exactly What I Intend to Do with My Guns Missiles,Nukes,and Marines; We will be 'Little Brother' to Our Older Sister;If the Cylons,or anyone else, want to give Big Sister A Hard Time, I Am Simply To Come up to Whomever and Punch them Dead in the Mouth!
In the Process,We will be scrapping Scores More Toasters,And Having Fun Doing it!
