Hello, all! I'm trying to remember a tv special version of Battle Star Galactica, back in the late seventies or early eighties(?).It started with a NASA astronaut doing a spacewalk and catching a book that was floating in space. As it was opened, it revealed art drawings of the reptilian Cylons and Lorne Greene's voice over telling the story of the creation of the machine Cylons and the Imperious Leader..the rebellion of the machines.....I can't remember much more than that, I believe it lead to a clip show of several BSG episodes.Anyone know what I'm talking about? I know I didn't dream it...it was just soooo long ago!

Awesome site! Thanks! Its a cool site! I forgot that Richard Hatch had played in the Jan and Dean movie. I remember watching that on TV at the time (1978) and again the following year after the release of BG.
oops the one with the astronaut finding the Galactica logbook was "ruminations"
not experiment in terra Still a neat website
Yes! Thanks...check out this website especially "experiment in terra"
I don't think you dreamed the whole thing, at least not yet. Is this it?

I just did a quick search on Youtube and didn't find anything. I seem to remember a special that they did, but I'm probably confusing that with the Star Wars Christmas special. If I dig up anything I'll post it and let you know.
