Today, The GUNSTAR TRIREME,First Escort of the RAVEN BATTLE GROUP,is One Year Old;We Stand Before the BFC Fleet as It's Newest Addition;We are,to Date, Proud of What we Have Built so Far;We,of course, Know that we Are Still in our Infancy,and Taking Toddler Steps Forward;However there is Confidence that we have the Solid Foundation for Success;And,With A Dedicated Crew,and Hard Work,That Success will be Assured.

At Galacticon IV, In Seattle,Wash.,One Year Ago, The Trireme was Officially Commissioned in A Ceremony Presided by Lucianna 'KAT' Carro,Where She Read our Official Orders from Fleet Admiral Rivera.

(It was Originally Intended to Have Edward James Olmos(that's right,Adama Himself) Preside;Unfortunately,A Last Minute Development Prevented his attending; Oh Well, Stuff Happens.) However, We Express our Profound Gratitude to Lucianna for Filling in,and Making it Special;WELL DONE,KAT! SO SAY WE ALL!

I was Presented with the Trireme's Booth Banner,And Officially Relieved of My Duties on the Battlestar Raven;

Needless to Say,Galacticon was A Memorable Event!

In the Time Since then,Myself and my Command Staff have been Laying the Foundation for the Trireme to Succeed;There is,Of Course,More Work to be Done;However,as we Bring in New Members, and Continue to Grow;There is No Doubt we will Establish the Basis for Future Chapters to Follow, as the Flagship,the BATTLESTAR RAVEN,Has Done for Us.

Our Mission,Our Mandate,is Simple;As the First Escort of the RAVEN BATTLE GROUP,We are Tasked with Having the Raven's Back in Combat,Pretty Much like in A Real-World Carrier Battle Group where Frigates and Destroyers Protect the Flattop; In The first Few Encounters, The Trireme has Stood Fast Against the Cylon Threat,and Added It's Firepower to the Already Awesome Firepower and Squadrons of the Raven; It is Already Said the Cylons are Shook at what We can do Now.

To Celebrate our First Year In Existence, I Am Revealing TRIREME SHIP PATCHES:

These Patches have been Manufactured by Quality Patches,the Same Company that Made Certain Patches for the Raven;This Company was Highly Recommended by ADM. Dragonlady;And,Up Close, They indeed do Good Work!

The Patches are Three Inches Round In Diameter,Black Thread on White.

From the Initial Batch I Have Ordered, I have Reserved some for Myself,and to Present to Certain Individuals;

These will Be Ideal for Collecting;However, Only OFFICIAL Members of the Crew can Wear these on Uniforms.
