Comments
Looks like the actors from B&C are otherwise employed Pasqualino is doing the Musketeers series in UK; Cotton, who was also in SG Atlantis/4400/Razor, seems to be a regular on the Killing; forget the toaster loving scientist since we killed her off; and ditto on the crew of Osiris and it's noble sacrifice. Availability of actors can be overcome, and most scenes/shots were green screen, but there seems to be inertia against a series. Perhaps if Defiance, Almost Human and some of the other established and new series take-off (read that as make money) then maybe we can stir up interest. Remember at Galacticon eye-eye-eye (3) in the opening ceremony, Mr. Olmos said rather confidently that Mr. Larsen had rights to the franchise and wants to make a new movie along the classic series lines. Mr. Olmos has an irritating habit of being right most of the time. that will be the next time we see a new Battlestar. FACTOID: Larson is credited with coining the word "battlestar," a contraction of the phrase "line-of-battle starship", after being convinced to rename Adama's Ark to include the word "star" in the title in some way, in order to capitalize on the popularity of the then recently-released mega-hit, Star Wars. He is also credited with creating the faux curse word "frak". Iceworm out.
well, We Can Make Them See That It Needs To Go To series by keeping The pressure on The Folks at NBC/Universal.
