This Past Saturday Night, The Raven,With Help From The 5th Fleet, Helped Recover Some Badly Needed Spare Parts From The Abandoned Outpost At Delta Corinai; Needless To Say, The Operation Was Sucessful; We Got What We Came For, And Then Some!
The Armada Met Limited Resistance As It Descended Onto The Base Alpha Twelve:
Thanks To Maps And Data From The First Cylon War, We Were Able To Find What Was Truly Salvageable; Here's A List Of What Was Recovered:
- 30 Tons Of Viper Mark II Spares And Components
- 50 Tons Of Viper Mark III Spares And Components
- 25 Tons Of Raptor Mark I Spares And Components
- 15 Serviceable Military Vehicles
- 200 Titanium Sheets
- 50 Rolls Poly Carbon Skin (Mostly For Stealth Aircraft)
- 3,000 Assorted Small arms, Including HMGs And Mortars
- 10 Heavy KEW Turrets
- 25 Tons Of Usable Ammunition(Conventional)
- Various Electronic Equipment
In Addition, There Was A Very Small Amount Of Tylium, But It Had To Be Left Behind.
During The Recovery Process, There Was Resistance By A Cylon Scouting Unit, Which Was Repelled With Light Casualties. After The Cargo Had Been Secured, The Civilian Ships Were Escorted Out Of The Area By The 5th Fleet; The Raven MARDET Left Behind A 20kt Nuclear Device To Prevent Anything Else From Being Recovered:
When The Raven And Her Group Were Clear, She Jumped Out; However, The Cylons Decided To Follow!
We Encountered Two Of What Appeared To Be Cylon Weapons Platforms, Or, Their Bastardized Versions Of Gunstars:
Looking Like They Were Made Of Lego Bricks, They Were Set Up In Our Path; However, The Quick reaction By Our Just Landed Squadrons Prevented Them From Doing Any Damage; We Also Encountered A Smaller Version Of One Of Their Capital Base Stars; HAMMERS SQUADRON Was Able To Disable It, Long Enough For Our MARDET To Board It, And Gather Some Intel; After The MARDET Returned To The Raven, We Put It Out Of It's Misery.
No Doubt As Long As The Cylons Keep Popping Up, We Will Keep Knocking Them Down!
So Say We All!

Actually, The Mk.III Spares Were MORE Rare! Nonetheless,Both Types Will Continue On For As Long As Possible!
Well, with that amount of Mk-II spare parts my pilots can continue to fly their bird of choice. Hopefully the Chief will have my new Mk-II any day now.
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!
