Fellow Colonials,
This is NOT Battlestar Galactica related. However it IS important that we HONOR and give great respect to one of our many HEROES who have earned a place in our hearts! Today Leonard Nimoy passed away at age 83. Having lived a long life with a journey he share not just with is family, but with us his FANS.
We knew him as Spock the First Officer of the USS ENTERPRISE, but we loved him for the logic he gave us and the promise that all things are logical as well as fact. Like many of you i will miss him dearly as he is also one of my heroes and role models. I ask throughout the BFC FLEET all ships dim their lights and take a moment of silence to honor this great man among us. He will me truly missed, but reminds us all that time will eventually catch up to all us, so live this life like every minute counts and give love and joy to the ones we love family and friends.
Thank you at Colonial Warriors of the FLEET! Please post here and share your thoughts and ideals that him someone you thought of and respected.

RIP Leonard "Spock" Nimoy, you will be greatly missed by us all.
1. A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
2. The needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few. Or the one!
3. I have been and always shall be , your friend!
He will be missed terribly! The news of his death is like watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan where he died! But this time, it is for real. Not too many people know I am Star Trek fan. But now you know. Now Spock joins his father Sarek, son of Skon, son of Solkar. But his katra will forever live in the minds of everyone. It will be like the Hall of Ancient Thoughts at Mount Selaya.
Mr. Nimoy, may you rest in peace. You maybe gone, but you are not forgotten!
May we all drink the cup of Life as deeply as he did.
All Squadrons of the RAVEN AIR WING will Fly 'Missing Man' Formations in Honor of Mr. Nimoy, A True Icon of Science Fiction, and our Culture as A Whole; So Say We All!
Stay strong he will live on in our Hearts.
Nope. Not gonna cry in public. No way.
I've been a fan of his pretty much since I could walk, thanks to my mother who raised me on science fiction. I have seen him in Star Trek -and- Transformers (I am going to watch the third live action movie tonight in his honor since Sentinel Prime is my favorite character he's ever voiced in Transformers).
RIP Leonard, you will definitely be missed.
