  • Here's some more info on what we may expect from the remake of the Battle Star Galactica movie:

It looks like they're using as many of the original characters as possible, and bringing in some new ones as well.  They're looking to make it less cheesy/hokey than the original, and less dark than the re-imagined version.  Characters are to be realistic and develop in their psyche.  They're really trying to do it right.

Also, here is some of Richard Hatch's work too:

His concept looks really interesting too. I hope they can include them all.  Each version has its own unique qualities.  There is really no need or excuse for rivalries or resentments.  Just as with Star Trek and Star Trek The Yuppie Generation, the success of one does not diminish the value an the other, and actually there have been lots of cool spin-offs.  They're all totally cool!  So, no fighting amongst our selves-Let's unite as one and kill some toasters and other new re-imagined enemies and kitchen appliances as well!

So say we all...me, my self, and I!

  • There is an exibit in the Frank Gheri building, right next to the Space Needle, Seattle. It has three full size BSG fighters in it, uniforms, Kara Thrace's ID tags. If you are in Seattle in the next six months or so, pay the 15-16 dollars and go see it. Even has the Red Dress that Tricia Hefler wore. I guess there is going to be a "Women of BSG or some type of expo this spring or summer in Texas, again, low cost but probably have to pay for autograph, I heard William Shatner might show up for that one. I know they are filming the "BSG" movie or planning it. They wouldn't be so hush hush if they were'nt. I want to be in the movie so bad. I don't care if I get my Viper get blown up in the first ten seconds, flash backs from both series, what a trip. The flames that came out the back of the Vipers were the BOMB.

  • I'm into both the original and the reimagined versions.  Each genera has its own unique qualities.  The uniforms are great too!  Sadly, Lorn Green died several years ago.  Dirk Benedict has written two books, by the way too.  He started out promoting the reimagined version, but it turned out too dark for his liking.  He has a good sense of humor, and calls the "new" Starbuck "Stardoe"!  Changing Boomer and Starbuck to women sort of gave me a brain fart as well, until I got used to it.  Same goes for Commander Cain of the Pegasis.  Originally guys, now sexy chicks!   Anyway, like I said, the uniforms are cool in both versions...LOTS BETTER than Star Trek!

  • I'm not old school but I did watch the original series and the short movie where Starbuch and Apollo had the cool flying motorcycles. I would like to be in the new movie or work on the set, it was one of the best shows out there. The one year time jump on New Caprica was genius. If the new movie could do more time jumps from the old Lornse Green, is he still alive? Then go into the Remake , that would be awsome, just want to fly a Viper, don't care if its a MKII or MKVII or a MKXX, just want to BLAST SOME TOASTERS, PLEASE LET ME BE IN THE MOVIE.
