Battlestar Raven BFC-002 Saturday Night’s Hub Destruction Mission in the Forum Chat

Hi everyone in the Battlestar Fan Club and the Battlestar Galactica Universe. This mission was planned by Battlestar Raven’s CAG Major Keith "Leonidas" Ranson and I over a week ago. We decided to put it off until last night in hopes that we could interest more people to join us.

 

It’s always better to have more people involved for a mission of this magnitude. Trying to make comments for others as if they’re present during the battle takes time away from your performance. Things happen quickly, you have to think fast to keep up with the comments being posted so everything flows together so the battle makes sense.

 

If this is what 7 members of the Raven can do, I can only imagine what an entire crew would be capable of accomplishing. Take a look and see if this is something you would like to take part in, and join us for the next mission. You’ll be glad you did!!!!!!!!!

Mee Too Soon.

Well that’s how the crew of the Raven has fun on a Saturday night. The mission started just before 10:PM EST. The six of us are spread out across the US. I’m from Rhode Island and Hitman is out in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hitman joined us at approximately 7:PM PST.

Difference in time is always a factor when planning a mission. The Flying Tiger’s squadron is a multinational group with members across the US and into Europe.  Missions that are planned so our European members are able to participate usually take place at 10:AM EST which makes it 4:PM in Spain where Lt Jg Diego “El Cid “ Martin calls home.

The start time is always considered before any mission planning takes place so as many members are able to participate. In the end, it’s great to see a mission come together and be successful so everyone has fun. It’s the best way I know to keep pilots active and make them happy to be a part of the group.

Note: (7 members started the mission, 1 member droped out due to computer problems)
