I am 34, been a big fan of the 2003 Re-Imaged show. I loved the shows and movies, wishing they would keep on with Blood and Chrome.
Anyway I just stumbled on this site from google search. I was downloading some Battlestar images to mess around with. I have watch most of the original show when I was a kid. When they remade the show I jumped right in starting on the Old Sci-fi game they made for the show "Join the fight". Then I got into a forum style Rpg, starting from the bottom as a Clyon sleeper working up to the Leader. I bounced around back to the Colonial's, working back up through the ranks. The site however died slowly died over the years, another site opened up with some old friends. I joined as a Colonial working from the bottum up again and now I am the Fleet Rear Admiral but acting Fleet Admiral. However the site "http://bsgcolonialmarinehq.proboards.com" has slowed down to only a few of us still going strong. I haven't been to any con's or anything I am just a fan. I am looking forward on seeing how you guy's run thing's.

Hello Jaxon, and WELCOME to the Battlestar Fan Club! It's a great club, and we all hope you really enjoy it. It's the most fun if everybody participates, so please post and boast on the forums and discussions, (and meet new friends who share a common interest) as well as check out all of the groups you can participate in. (Just look up at the top bar and pick Groups. There are battlestars eager for you to sign up, as well as squadrons, you name it, even Pyramid and Cylon stuff! Lots of the groups are into discussing certain topics, while others are into role playing, so just check it out and find what interests you the most. Feel free also to start your OWN groups, topics, blogs, discussions, etc. The more who participate the more fun it is for all.

I see that your favorite BSG character is William Adama. I am also a fan of both Old and New Galactica and my favorite character is Starbuck from both series.
You joined the BFC as a member of the Atlantia. If you’re ever interested in becoming a Viper pilot you couldn’t have come to a better place.
The Battlestar Raven has one Raptor and six Viper squadrons aboard at this time. One of which is the Blackstar Viper squadron. It’s the first Classic Viper squadron to join the Battlestar Raven. At the present time Spartan, Perseus, Hammer, Minotaur and Blackstar squadrons are shorthanded and are looking for pilots.
