      Hey, Shawn:
I am trying and failing to find BSG-TOS-ONLY fans: we founded an original-fan page and Facebook; but, it seems most of us are old, dead or have given up. I want to commemorate the 1978-1979 series accurately; there is a lot of misinformation out there. Do let me know if you can refer me to any stalwart TOS-fans out there?

Hi Shawn, I saw your letter regarding the Japanese Steak House dinner in memory of Richard Hatch. Is this only for BFC members? Can members of the various BFG pages on FB go also? We're in Inland Empire.

      Best,
      Michele Bletcher

Good morning! I'm newer to the group, but I would love the honor of manning the BSG booth! I'm a workhorse, pretty local to LA, and have lots of convention/trade show experience.

Shawn, as a veteran of BSG.com flying under the call sign "Hephaestus,"  I'm sure I would like to pitch in where I can.  I've written quite a few fanfictions (as Author Firematt97), and would love to see a marriage between the two sites.

Thanks and I will. Yeah, I like that Colonial Alliance logo on the front of the BFC website. It really stands out. It's like when you look at it, the way it was designed , it has some meaning behind it. I loved that touch of the steel sword. To me, it signifies strength. With the small globe on the middle of it, it now means with strength with unity. Just like the United States Marine logo. I also like that touch of what appears to be a little writing or watermark I guess, just above one of the stars. I Google it out to see who or what it means. It's meaning made a good additional touch to what the entire meaning of what the graphic represents. It really suits the name given. I also saw the logo on that newly established Colonial Alliance site which contains a different version of the original logo which is on the main page of this site. It's cool cool looking too. But it does not have the meaning of what the original designed has. Globe is too big too. It lost the real meaning behind it. But both are very good art work. I prefer the original version though. When you look at it, a lot of hard work was put into putting it together. The designer just need to polish it up if use for the other sites. But for the site here, it is just perfect. Just my two cent.

Sorry for my rambling. I have learned a few things when looking at graphics from my wife and her friend Miguel . She always tells me there is a reason why something is created the way it was. Both are an awesome team when they work together. And I have told this to both of them even in the past. Miguel got my wife going on this. And there is no stopping her after that.

Mr. ODonnell, I happened to read your recent message to the BFC Community.  Looks like everyone has a lot of things to look forward to. Learning the ropes from my wife has really peeked up my interest.  And I might say, the mobile version of the site is really nice. Very easy to use.  My wife showed it to me.  Also, I just wanted to say that logo included in your message was very nicely done.  Great job to the person that designed it.  It really stands out.
