Colonial Warriors,
I was unable to attend ComicPalooza this year and it was killing me inside and i was very downed and out. However sacrifices must be made and i had no choice, but to make them when it came to real life. I am feeling better, but i am very sadden still b/c i was not able to attend and meet the Raven crew once again. I also missed the opportunity to meet fellow United Kingdom members who flew from overseas to attend the event. A BIG SPECIAL THANKS! To you for making time in your schedule to attend the ComicPalooza and meet up with the Raven crew. They are great bunch of folks and love to make new friends as they also recruit new personnel into the Battlestar Fan Club.
I want to THANK Paul Oakley who was there along with fellow friends and did a wonderful job setting up and kick butt presentation. To everyone involved in the setting up process and taking down your help is greatly appreciated. Like Raven Actual i too thank you from the bottom of my heart! As always the convention was a great success and debuting the large studio scale Battlestar Raven was obviously an attention getter as people stopped at the table to look on and ask questions. The ship is impressive and looks wonderful the details are sharp and intricate again thank you. Thanks to Cylon Tim and other Cylons there as well as the Colonial Marines!
To Dan Joplin of D & L Fantasy Arms Sir you did an awesome job! Thanks to anyone else who may have helped with the project. The ship looks wonderful i see the level of detail from bow to stern. I also enjoyed seeing the smaller ships within the hangar and surround back areas. The exterior is rich in detail and i am sure as stated earlier many on lookers will enjoy it. Thank you Dan! for making my Sister dream come true she will cherish for many years to come. God bless you Sir ~Salutes~
In closing i want to say thank you to the crew of the Battlestar Raven for your efforts, hard work and stead can do attitude for making things happen at ComicPalooza convention. I wish i could have been there, but real life chimed in and i had no choice, but to answer the call. Again GREAT JOB!! ~Salutes~
PS: If someone could post my message on the Raven FB where it talks about the ship i be grateful thanks.
