At 4:43pm on August 20, 2010, Paul Nix said…: Dallas has a lot of shows every year. Some are liturature based, some are for gamers, and they have the comic-con and media shows. I go to the Comic-Con, Sci-fi expo and fan days every year. Dallas also has All-Con once a year which is a multi-format con.
The Dallas shows are usually pretty reasonable priced compared to thers.

I beleive everyone at Trek Expo this year has been to the Dallas show, most in the last year, except Shatner who will be in Dallas in Oct. Not knocking Trek Expo, it's a great show, Dallas is just less expensive. I post the Dallas shows on here with links for ticket info. I also know a clean, decent motel in the area that is pretty reasonable should you need the info. I don't plan to attend the August show but will be at the Oct show for sure.

Admission can be anywhere from free to $30.00 but is usually about $10 for general admit and $20 for priority with a few little perks like free posters or t-shirts. Autographs are around $20 also except for the occasional big name that is a little more. check out www.scifiexpo.com for info. They have a lot of Star Wars guest but it's usually a variety of sci-fi guest.
