  I wish you the best of luck with the quest for the perfect flight suit.  The suit I got was pretty good accept for the leather vest part.  There was one individual at the Galacticon 3 convention I talked to.  He was telling us about someone who REALLY did their research and was making batches of flight suits from the same materials and specs exactly as they did in the movie.  What ever you do though, just be advised that those suckers are HOT!  They don't breath, so if you have them zipped up, it gets really toasty inside.  Great for Winter though, but other wise, you 'll want to be in an air conditioned building.  If I find any info, I'll pass it on.  Anyway, GOOD HUNTING! :o) JDF

  IF you are interested...The following are some good sources that I have come across for uniforms and ensembles for both versions of Battlestar Galactica, and even some props and Centurion outfits.  It’s much more fun to suit-up at conventions and pose with the stars as well as for your own vanity and profile pics.  You and some friends could also suit-up and make some movies for sharing with the club and on You Tube.

  If you or any you know are interested in Battlestar Galactica uniforms from the re-imagined series, here are several to pick from. I got a flight suit and Commander’s blues from these folks a few years ago. Not bad for the price. You can modify at will.

  Hello Scott, and WELCOME to the Battlestar Fan Club!  It's a great club, and we all hope you really enjoy it.  It's the most fun if everybody participates, so please post and boast on the forums and discussions, (and meet new friends who share a common interest) as well as check out all of the groups you can participate in. (Just look up at the top bar and pick Groups.  There are battlestars eager for you to sign up, as well as squadrons, you name it, even Pyramid and Cylon stuff!  Lots of the groups are into discussing certain topics, while others are into role playing, so just check it out and find what interests you the most.  Feel free also to start your OWN groups, topics, blogs, discussions, etc.  The more who participate the more fun it is for all.

  I see that your favorite BSG character is Starbuck. I am also a fan of TOS and TNS and Galactica and my favorite is Starbuck as well.
