"LEADING THE BSG UNIVERSE"
Raven Marine OIC- Brigadier Gen. Eduardo "Enforcer"
Raven Marine NCOIC- Master Gunnery Sergeat- Paul "Iceworm" Oakley
What is it like to be a Marine aboard the Raven you ask? I believe the General Orders that all new Marine Recruits have to know and memorize will tell it all.
-To take charge of this post and all BFC property in view
-To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
-To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.
-To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guardhouse than my own. IE: in the event of a COMM breakdown, all orders must be yelled or verbally given to the next sentry no matter the distance from the next post and so on...until the entire unit knows the same order issued.
-To quit my post only when properly relieved.
-To receive, obey and pass on to the sentry who relieves me all orders from the Executive Officer, Detachment commander, and officers, both commissioned and non-commissioned, of the guard only.
-To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
-To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
-To call the MarDet Commander or the XO in any case not covered by instructions.
-To salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased.
-To be especially watchful at all times, especially wartime, and to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

Iceworm,
I think that's how it should be with active US troops. Of course the enemy always targets anyone they think is in command. Your BSG Marine uniform is one of the best I've seen even if a couple details are not 100% screen accurate.
Keep up the great work Marine!!!
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!
The Colonial Marine uniforms are easy as they don't seem to usually wear rank or patches, favored in most elite units to deny "order of battle" info to the enemy they run into that survive the experience. Note: Basic data ID cards are carried hidden to avoid execution as spies, and always shoot the guy with the rank, the side arm or the clipboard. When attending cons with lots of non-BSG attendees, ship patches, rank, title (NCOIC) and "color" items (RECON, blood type, equipment lanyards etc.) are sometimes added. Yeah, yeah, "not screen accurate": My face and age are not screen accurate.
All members were sent a message several days ago inviting them to participate in the "Planet-T" mission Saturday night, 2/22/2014. Please contact me or Boogman Sardeson if you wish to take part. Several key positions are available for the two sapper attack Teams and on the Raven. Be the Razor.
Happy Birthday Corporal Hillman!!!! I hope you have a great day of celebrating with your family and friends.
I hope you're ready for the big mission this Saturday night. The Raven Marines are going to be kicking some serious Chrome Butt and need everyone working together as a team!!!!!
SO SAY WE ALL! ! ! ! !
Of that I have no doubt, Scorpion! Raven Actual's devotion is beyond reproach.
My rifle and I have "surrendered" many a toaster. I don't know about this "succumb" thing. Aren't those the demon women with the wingy things?
You know it Iceworm!!! Next Saturday night we're going to need some of that "Surrender or Succumbing" you just mentioned. Although, I think we're looking more for the enemy to Succumb to the attack than Surrender!!!!!!
SO SAY WE ALL! ! ! ! !
You can have a PhD or a GED, but as long as you have the heart, the spirit and the body a good DI can turn you into an awesome force, putting rough boots on any ground where needed. It is to these boots that enemies surrender or succumb.
