Bio: The 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Chinese Air Forces in 1941–1942, famously nicknamed the Flying Tigers, was composed of pilots from the United States Army (USAAF), Navy (USN), and Marine Corps (USMC), recruited under presidential authority and commanded by Claire Lee Chennault. The ground crew and headquarters staff were likewise mostly recruited from the U.S. military, along with some civilians.

Any one who would like to fly a Viper and join this group must first download the Viper Training Manual and complete the multiple choice test at the end:

Hi Everyone,
I had planned to celebrate the 1st anniversary of our squadron. Due to health problems, I dropped the ball so to say. It's ironic though because my last posted comment here happened to fall on the date of our anniversary.
I'm very happy to say that I'm back to my usual self health wise and I will be returning to duty as soon as I contact Raven Actual.
I know everyone is busy with Christmas and the New Year so close, but I would like to perform a CAP with as many of our members as possible next Saturday night at the usual time and place (10:PM EST in Forum Chat).
I would like to commend Hitman, HotWire and Bunny for taking care of business while I was away. I am very proud of all of you and it's a pleasure to serve with such a fine group of individuals.
As you know, I don't have the power to hand out promotions or awards, but I would like to announce at this time that I am promoting Ensign Bunny to her first Flight Leader position for her outstanding participation and excellence she brings in the performance of duty as a member of the Flying Tiger's Squadron.

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all of you here who celebrate it a Happy Thanksgiving. May your feast be bountiful and may your drink flow free. I am thankful for each one of you. You are the best pilots in the entire fleet! Have a wonderful day and thank you.
