Colonials,

I just wanted to take my time to wish Battlestar Aries and her crew, Happy 6th Year Chapter Anniversary in the Colonial Defense Forces.  Can you believe 6 Years has gone by already since she was launch as a chapter in the Colonial Defense Forces....  She and her crew has been through thick and hard times but she stood strong and overcame it.  The Aries is commanded by an individual that has earned my true friendship which I do not give out just like that.  It had to be earned.  And Admiral Miguel Rivera has certainly earned it.  And once I give it to someone, I do not ever take it back.  And certainly, our friendship has been tested time and time again.  But it stood strong and overcame a lot of things as well. 

As many of you know, I started out as Battlestar Aries Chief Engineering Officer and one of the Founding Members.  I had the pleasure of watching her evolve through the years to one of the best if not already the best, Chapter in the Colonial Defense Forces.  It is through her I learned the tools of the trade that I use now here at BFC and the Raven.  Let us just say I had a very good mentor. :-)  But I am still consider myself a novice when it comes to that. :-)

Admiral Rivera, may you and the crew of Battlestar Aries continue to patrol the sky soaring high and smooth like a Raven, and continue to be bless with such a wonderful crew that continues to keep her running smoothly.  Battlestar Raven hopes to emanate and cement the same legacy as she has.  Always leading by the front with integrity, strong leadership, example and fun for all her members....
