So glad everyone is sending me a warm welcome. Will get more involved as soon as I can, but at the moment may be facing surgery, so will not be at a high level of participation at the moment. Hope to talk to all soon, JBR

Hi John!
Thank you for welcoming me to the BG Fan club! Its funny how time flies by so fast; I was 12 when the original series came out and loved very episode. Now, the kids children watch the show, glued to the TV just like I was. Thanks again for all the info and awesome links!
Hi John Thank you for welcoming me to your Battlestar . I'm an old skool of Battlestar.
From the original series the eps : Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Fire in Space , & the Living legend & Hand of God are among favorites. A great dialog exchange between Adama & Commandant Leiter ( Baltar's Escape) . If you are the Strongest Military force in the universe ? How do you explain the ' Galactica' ? Your Battlestar is quite impressive however it is but a single warship . We would dispatch it as the wolfpack does the bear. Have you seen the 'Living Legend project? It's Brilliant .I remember reading the book & colonel Tigh remarking on both ' Galactica & Pegasus joining forces. 'Its just like the old days been able to launch off 2 Battlestars. Michelle Forbes did an Amazing job as Admiral Cain .It would be great if Ronald D Moore did the 1st Cylon War series .To actually see the Battlestar 's in their prime . Starbuck said it best in 'Greetings from Earth part 2. 'You have never seen a Battlestar fight' .Brilliant. So Say We All.
I too got the same message... and I received an email at my home email address. Why if this person is who they say they are, would they solicit a Fan Club for "FOREIGN TRUSTEES"? I think it may be a scam and needs to be addressed. And thanks for the "HOWDY." ;)
Hi John and thank you for the warm welcome message. sorry it took so long to reply back. I do have one issue at the moment though I received a message from a new member soliciting a scam and it seems that i am not the only one she has been messaging. Not sure who else to contact on this matter.
Hey there "Buzzsaw," Got the info and even though the suit is coming along fine it has been slow getting things done. Have a few other projects taking up my time but have no fear, if I get stumped in any area, I will contact him and ask for help. Just about got the one leg done but I have gone back to the boot and starting to cast the components of the boot and getting the mold has called on my Engineering knowledge in many ways. A challenge but I like challenges.
I took a look at the site you mentioned but was not able to see anything along the lines of what I am working on. As soon as I get something worth posting I will post pictures for all to see. Also looking at which group would be the one to join.
Hello John, Thanks for the welcome aboard. I sent one message but not sure if it got through so I'll send it again. I joined as I am building a Cylon Soldier suit, the new version, and hoping to get it done in time for Galaxy Fest 2016 in February. I wanted to see if anyone else had built or is building a Cylon. I usually go by the moniker of JR as it was something that I picked up as a Casino Manager from the floor as it was quick and easy to get me on the com radio. No Mr. Richards or whatever, just JR.
i'm fine, thanks, working and home. In my free time, I build some TIE fighters and now I start to build a Star Destroyer, bit bigger then last time. It will be around 32 cm long and 22 cm width :-) I'm using cardboards to build my ships. Please visit my website to see more pictures: www.miklosgo.deviantart.com
I grew up with Star Wars, later with the old Star Trek, then with the old Battlestar Galactica from 1978, watching on TV, and now we have the Stargate series.
That's all for now, wish you all the best my friend,
G'day from Tasmania, thanks for the great welcome and the links, I'm currently reading the Promethius e-book series, so I'll definitely check out Clash of Civilizations.
It's very light on with fans here in North-West Tasmania, so hopefully I'll be able to find someone else local through this group
Thanks for the great welcome and costume info. Have some research ahead of me yet :) Is battlestargalactica.org still in business? Most pages on their website say they were last updated in 2000.
