Thanks so much, I know it probably gets a bit slow around here (just joined the Blackstar folks as well, but always happy to chime in when the conversation gets good.
Greetings, distinquished Warriors. I've just joined and have put some comments here/there. Great forum subjects and will love to someday join the ranks here.
Big long-time fan, attended the '98 20th Yahren celebration in LA.
Newly single, looking forward to attending more cons, Galacticon 4 looks pretty promising. Just got in my vintage SIDI boots for spray-coating, and having 'ol Kathy (Katarra8) making my uniform now. Just picked up a resin blaster to paint someday soon as well. Trust me, I'll spend $$$ for accuracy.
About myself here in Wisconsin, 28+yr US Army veteran (just made 'full-bird' Colonel) been deployed a few times now, did a tour in Germany in Artillery back in what they called 'the Cold War', just got sworn in as an 'Inspector General' for my Army job. Also certified/experienced in large-scale deployment logistics planning. Full time job is managing Medical Imaging at a VA hospital here in Milwaukee.
I've also ran marathons both in Europe and here in the States, and love my two german shorthair dogs.
Guitarist, mainly jazz, slide, blues, classical. Don't mean to turn away fans of the newer re-imaged series, but I'm more into 'old school heroics', so I'll take the vintage series ANY DAY.
I'd be honored to be counted among your ranks.
