All pilots start at the rank of Ensign. One of the first things you want to do is to think about your own call sign. Your call sign must be unique. My call sign is a nick name that was given to me by a friend of my younger brother.
You're welcome Keith. The BFC (Battlestar Fan Club) has a lot to offer BSG fans. I think it leans more toward the RMD (Re-imagined) series. We have training manuals where you can earn your (Mk-II) Viper and Raptor Wings as well as what's known as the CDF OP's manual. The CDF OP's manual is chock full of interesting BSG information based on the RMD series.

I see your favorite BSG character is Starbuck. I’m a fan of everything concerning Battlestar Galactica. Being a Viper Pilot, my favorite character is Starbuck from both the Original and Re-imagined BSG. From a man’s point of view, when it comes to Cylon skin jobs, I’m partial to the 6’s and the 8’s.
At the present time Perseus, Spartan, Hammer, Minotaur, Flying Tigers and the Seekers squadron are looking for more pilots.
I’m Major Reamer, Battlestar Ravens CAG and squadron leader of the Flying Tigers. The Raven Airwing is always looking for a few more Viper pilots to join the group.

If you decide flying a Viper isn’t for you, the Raven has many alternatives. You could join The Marines, Engineering, Security, Sick Bay and more.
