It’s much more fun to suit-up at conventions and pose with the stars as well as for your own vanity and profile pics. You and some friends could also suit-up and make some movies for sharing with the club and on You Tube.
If you or any you know are interested in Battlestar Galactica uniforms from the re-imagined series, here are several to pick from. I got a flight suit and Commander’s blues from these folks a few years ago. Not bad for the price. You can modify at will.

It's the most fun if everybody participates, so please post and boast on the forums and discussions, (and meet new friends who share a common interest) as well as check out all of the groups you can participate in. (Just look up at the top bar and pick Groups. There are battlestars eager for you to sign up, as well as squadrons, you name it, even Pyramid and Cylon stuff! Lots of the groups are into discussing certain topics, while others are into role playing, so just check it out and find what interests you the most. Feel free also to start your OWN groups, topics, blogs, discussions, etc. The more who participate the more fun it is for all.

I see that you joined the CDF. I am a member of both the CDF and the BFC. I was a member of the 7th Fleet in the CDF. In fact, if you check the Battlestar Mjolnir of the 7th fleet you will still see my name listed as a crew member. I find the Battlestar fan club to have more action taking place than the CDF any day of the week. I have transferred to the Battlestar Raven here at the fan club and I am now a squadron leader.
I am Lt Reamer of the Flying Tiger's squadron. I am always looking for a few more Viper pilots to join my group. Most of my pilots have taken or they are in the process of taking both Viper and Raptor exams and will be able to pilot them both.
