Also, Welcome to the Club, it's always good to see new faces :D
Ens. Wilson,
I'm not the CAG (that's Maj. Reamer) but I saw your question about the exams. The Seekers, the Raptor squadron onboard the Raven, keeps a copy of the exams on the Seeker board. Here's the link:

Hope it helps!
(To the CAG: Sorry for stepping on your toes if I am going over your head here :P )
One more thing to consider William. I see that you didn't join the BFC through attending a comic convention. You found the BFC and you joined by yourself. You originally wanted to be a member of the Titan. If you look at the profile of all the people that greeted you, you will see that they are all members of the Raven.
I'm very happy to see you decided to join the crew of the Raven. To join the Battlestar Raven you must enter the Raven's group page and request to become a member. It takes a short time and then you will become a part of the crew. While you're waiting you can join one of the Viper squadrons and if you so choose, you can begin your training by reading the Viper manual.
Good Hunting Ensign Wilson!!!
SO SAY WE ALL!!!!!
Hi William,
To be honest, when you joined as a Viper pilot you don't have to wait for a Vipercto be assigned to you. Not to mention that all pilots start at the rank of Ensign. If you should choose to read through the Viper training manual and take the exam, that"s when you will earn your pilot wings and be issued your own unique Viper Tail Number (VTN).
Taking the Viper exam isn't mandatory. You will always be a pilot. You just will never be issued a VTN nor will you ever earn your wings.
The Raven hosts mock Missions/OP's from time to time online here in the chat room. We allow anyone to join the OP whether they have earned their wings or not.
One last bit of information. Promotions are earned depending on how active you are with the Viper squadron you join as well as being an active member of the Battlestar you join. Promotions also depend on the lenght of time you're a member here, but inactive member no matter the amount of time will never get promoted.
Even though the BFC is a fan club, there is a structure in place similar to the military just not as difficult.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Welcome to the Club William. Enjoy.
Welcome to the club William, the CAG has said it all, good to see a new Viper pilot!

Welcome to the Battlestar Fan club (BFC) William, it's great to have you join the club!!!
I see your favorite BSG character is Lucifer. I’m a fan of everything Battlestar Galactica. Being a Viper Jock, my favorite character is Starbuck from the original and re-imagined BSG series. When it comes to Cylon skin jobs, being a typical guy, I’m partial to the 6’s and the 8’s.
I see you joined the BFC as a member of the Titan to become a Viper Pilot. Whatever interests you about BSG you couldn’t have come to a better place than the BFC. Battlestar Titan is no longer an active Battlestar at the BFC; I’m not sure what happened to the Titan.
The Battlestar Raven is the most active in the fleet and a much better place to become a Viper Pilot or whatever you decide to do. Since you’re interested in becoming a pilot, the Raven has one Raptor and six Viper squadrons at this time. You can check out all the squadrons and every department aboard the Raven using this link: http://battlestarfanclub.com/groups/group/listByLocation?location=B...
Presently the Spartan, Perseus, Hammer, Minotaur, Blue, and the Seekers squadrons are looking for pilots. The Raven might be a group you would like to join.
I am Major Reamer the Ravens CAG and commander of the Flying Tiger's squadron aboard the Raven. I am always looking for a few more Viper pilots to join my group as well.
The Raven has many alternatives you choose from. You could join The Marines, Engineering, Security, Sick Bay and more. Take a look at the Ravens web site using this link: www.battlestarraven-bfc-002.com Click on Ship Departments to see everything the Raven has to offer; you’ll be glad you did!!!!! The choice is entirely up to you.
SO SAY WE ALL! ! ! ! !
