Welcome aboard the Raven Dave I am Freya the Raven’s Operations officer and one of the assistant Squadron Leaders for the Ravens only Raptor Squadron The Seekers. I see you are interested in Ops That is an excellent choice. There are many things you can do aboard the Raven, If you are interested in being a pilot, the Raven is home to 6 Viper Squadrons and 1 Raptor Squadron. Alexander Falkberg is working on getting our gun crews up and running. Take the time to get to know the site and when you are ready you can join whichever group you want, don’t forget to join the Raven group page to keep up with the ships happenings. On the Forum and in you can join discussions and get news about events and projects of the Battlestar Fanclub.
If you want to take on an even more active role, make sure to check out the various groups of the Fanclub. They offer you the opportunity to take on a career aboard one of the Colonial Alliance's vessels and stay in contact with like-minded members of the Fleet. Whether you want to be a daring Viper Pilot, fly a Colonial Raptor or join the engineers - the choice is up to you. Look around and contact Group Leaders for additional information!
My name is Alexander Falkberg of the Battlestar Gun Crews. We are a new and active group that is always looking for new recruits to fill our ranks.
In our group, we share fan works of all kinds related to Battlestar Weaponry and have discussions about the ship, lore, and everything going on with the Club. Additionally, we offer preparations for chat-based Operations, where members of many groups come together and relive the unique experience of participating in a battle against the never-ending threat of Cylons.
If you want to become a steely-eyed gunner aboard The Raven and take on Cylons with the biggest ordnance of the Fleet, this is the right group for you!
If you want to delve deeper into the role of a member of the Colonial Defense Forces right away, take a look at the CDF Operations manual and exam. Participation is in no way mandatory, but it is a great way to get fully used to the Club and learn all about the Colonial Military.
The foremost goal of the Battlestar Fanclub is to offer you the best possible experience. So, wherever your choice falls, I hope you will have a great time! If there are any questions or issues, feel free to ask!
