I have two favorite episodes. One was 33 this episode kept you on the edge of your seat and you got emotionally invested in the characters. What was going to happen next? Was Adama going to give the command to reset the clock? I think it really showed what life would be like in this post apocalyptic world.
My second favorite is flight of the Phoenix. I think this episode is where the chief really was able to shine and be seen as a leader and it showed just how important he was to the entire crew. By his actions of creating a viper from scratch he was able to give everyone "something to live for" and ultimately was able to rally the crew.
Favorite episode? That can go a few ways. But I would have to say Pegasus. The dynamic created between Cain and Adama was terrific. Never had a problem with the Admiral Cain character being changed to a woman. Michelle Forbes did a great job showcasing her version of a cold, calculating Cain vs. the bombastic, over the top portrayal by Lloyd Bridges from the original series.
