I would have to disagree personally the titan class it holds more.... 4 full wings n a full company of marines.....has a thicker hull more armourments....need i say more....LOL

Yes, I whole heartedly agree that as far as capabilities go, this is so. I was talking about cosmetic appearance not capabilities. The Valkyrie class is one of the smaller mass produced classes. The larger classes are clearly much more capable and also seem to have the ability to manufacture fighters and presumably other smaller craft as well. The Valkyrie class does not seem to have this ability...It's like comparing the Galactica with the Pegasus. Just for fun, I drew up some plans for what I might call the Berserker class...but that name may be taken as well...Maybe T-Rex or Gaiter, or something like that. My design is comparable in size to the Pegasus. It however uses some of the original series technology and has a supermegapulsar "Ram" gun running down the center of the ship and larger side turbal guns stair stepped along the sides such that all 20 can fire forward or else ten on each broadside. There are other personal innovations as well. The reason I called it the Berserker class is that it is designed to be capable of pulling the Pegasus maneuver, going out guns blazing and ramming the enemy, but also has the main population centers locked in on tracks that can quickly be launched off of the ship's main body. Thus at the point where necessary, there is no hesitation to pull such a desperate maneuver. On my version the power plants/reactors can also be quickly ejected if they are damaged, thus no melt downs or explosions in the ship. From other ship designs I've seen, my design has lots more space dedicated to power production in order to power up the supermegapulsar cannon and not deplete power to other weapon systems. An extra precaution we have taken is to have all essential programming hard wired on read only chips, so cyber attacks are less of a problem...just reboot. We also naturally are hardened against EMP attacks, so no sudden loss of essential weapon systems. Also, on my version the landing bays are mounted on the top and bottom of the ship such that fighters can be launched from both sides simultaneously and before jumping blast doors are closed fore and aft. There are 50 tubes on each side, giving an initial launch capacity of 200 total. Lining the sides of the ship are also a similar number of torpedo tubes for broadsides, or planetary attacks...These are for hit and run attacks...Jump in, fire one broadside, roll, fire the other, and jump out before there is time to react. There are also 7 heavy cannon facing forward like giant fighter craft guns to engage enemy ships of the line...Five are in the nose, two are on the sides, and there are also 20 forward facing torpedo tubes. Anyway, the Pegasus is supposed to be about 2,000 meters long from what I've read, while the Valkyrie class is MUCH smaller. But I digress...main point being the Valkyrie class "Looks" cool with all of the sharp sleep contours, especially at the nose. Oh, just one more innovation I wanted to share…Our fighters are very similar to the earlier Vipers, but have 5 helmet aimed guns…two along the sides like the viper, and one on each wing tip. Since the Raiders typically outnumber us exponentially, pods of fire and forget missiles are also available, mounted on the wings of our fighters and also in pods on the Battlestar’s surface. We also typically keep a couple of MPFV’s (Tanks) in the landing bays if any large raiders make it past the defenses and try to board the ship. Well, since we didn’t see any of my designs out there, we were in the more remote reaches of space, and when the colonies were destroyed, we set up base and started mass producing everything in asteroid fields, and hostile planets and moons…preparing for the counter attack to retake the homeland! This time, the human race will prevail, we will retake our homeland…errr, uh, or find homelands that are not radioactive…ummm…and we will never be caught off guard again! Never again! Good hunting! So say we all!!!!

If You Are Looking For More Models, Mobeius Is Supposed To Release The Pegasus And A Cylon Centurion Later This Year. Also, They Are Going To Re-Do The CLASSIC BSG Ships As Well!
