There are other versions, but they do a decent job.  They probably went overboard with the genetic memory stuff...even developing the same language? Nah.  But the rest is good, and includes aspects from BOTH versions of BSG.

I came up with my own hybridized cross-polinated version too, but I'll leave it out.
