The XO's A Really Cool Upstanding Guy As Are The Rest Of The Battlestar Galactica Actors! So Say We ALL!!!!

I don't want anybody to miss this.  This is the last day of Galacticon 3.  It was truly a once in a life time event. I saw something I never expected that says a lot.  The gruff and tough XO AKA Mr.Hogan took advantage of  a slow moment while signing autographs to play with a young boy in front of the raider.  It was not expected, but it was really sweet and sincere.  They were like two buddies playing in a sand box.  If you had seen it you would have been truly touched. ALL of the actors from both versions of Battlestar Galactica are TRULY REAL, SINCERE, and DECENT  FOLKS.  REALLY.  So say we all, especially if we get to meet them in person.  By the way, this was not staged, but was spontaneous and real, and no attention was drawn to them.  They were just "hangin."

That's Great John, it's always nice to hear that even though they act the part of a tough guy on the screen, it hasn't changed the way they are and take the time to have fun with their fans.

I saw the pics that somebody posted. It was tough looking say the pics at work. But we got our dream home. And I really look forward to every chance I get to attend one and meet everyone in person.

Hogan is great with kids. About four years ago I was at a con and was two or three people in line from him. My five year old was having a long day and was being fussy and whining. Hogan came out from behind his table and chased my five year old around on hands and knees. he seemed to enjoy it more than my kid. Great guy.

He really is a cool guy. You'd never expect his real personality, considering his brilliant portrayal of the XO. :o) JDF

Considering what I've seen, I could totally picture that in my head. Maybe one of his other Cylon models was once a teacher or something along those lines....But seriously...In real life, he's a really great guy. :o)
