Hard to say; They both have the same general configuration,but different external structure designs(The RDM version reminds me of A cigar for some reason); The only major difference would be is the original had both flight decks operational;The RDM version only had the port flight deck because the starboard was converted for it's supposed role as A museum;And, it also had most of it's armor,armament,and hangar capacity from the first cylon war reduced;It was an older ship;As for which was better,that would be up to the individual tactical point of view.
