Hello everyone. I really want to go to Galacticon III, but if I am to afford the trip I will be needing roommates for the hotel. Is anyone else here in the same boat?

Yes, I have indeed reserved a room at the con hotel with two queen beds. Looking to get a total of four people in there. So far I have myself and my friend Sam confirmed. We would be quite pleased if you could be our third. At that point I could afford to cover the difference myself if necessary, but if we get a fourth it would be even cheaper for me and of course for whoever our fourth ends up being. I would only expect you to pay for a quarter of the room cost whether we get a fourth or not.
Excellent, good to meet you Juan! If we can get four people in total, then the con hotel -- which looks great and sports an elevated walkway straight into the convention center -- becomes quite affordable. It's $122 a night, which split four ways works out to be only about $30 per person per night, which is nothing. I will be driving in Thursday from Tallahassee (so incidentally if anyone lives nearby or along the way, let me know) and returning Monday, so I plan to book for four nights (Thu-Sun). Does that sound good?

PM me if you would like to split a hotel 2 ways.
So are you still interested?
Who's Steve?
Is that the two queen beds option?
I have a place to stay just outside houston, but might be willing to go in for the hotel since I wouldn't need a rental car.
