"LEADING THE BSG UNIVERSE"
I am so excited to get the opportunity to attend my first Con this weekend. The Konsplosion going on this weekend in Fort Smith, Ar is a fairly new con but has been gaining steam in just the short time it's been going. And, it's only about 30 min away from home! I've been busy not only helping my daughter get her costume in order, but mine as well. I'm making a few minor adjustments here and there and when done should be "tight and right" ready for inspection. I look forward to representing the Raven and her command, and her crew. I hope to run into some fellow BSG fans there and maybe some (if any) Raven crew who might be in the area.
Just to catch anyone up who hasn't seen on FB, I've just recently finished my builds on my Raptor kits. One as an assault Raptor, the other is in plain trim. They turned out really nice I think anyway. They make awesome additions to my fleet. if you haven't seen them, and would like to, they are posted on the Colonial fleet shipyards page as well as the Battlestar Raven Battle Group.
May the Gods of Kobol smile upon you all and show favor in all you do today.

Update....
I had an awesome time at my first Con. I met a lot of nice folks and got a lot of compliments on my uniform from fellow attendees and security lol! I even made a couple of appearances on the local news and one of the folks I did a selfie with works with my wife's uncle. Well, Pvt. Bullet is in a Company Calander with none other than your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Spider-Woman. Pretty neat if I do say so myself. Also picked up some BSG crew patches.
Other than that, just working on expanding my fleet with a couple of Raptor builds and am now preparing to tackle my most detailed build yet (got to push yourself, or you never get better). I am taking a reimagined Galactica and converting it into a fully armored Cerberus. I am going to go all out with the layers of detail. Paint, full Aztec decal kit, Armor plate, scribing plate in proper places, maybe lighting, and weathering. Now, why Cerberus? Answer....to show love for my home Colony...Canceron :) I look for this build to take a long time, but I'm okay with that. I will post updates when I can.
