Real Life Present Day Development Of Laser Rifles

Here’s some neat real life tech stuff: Real Present Day Laser Rifles: This is what they are actually developing now: http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2007/04/plasma_pulse_la/ This is man portable, unlike rail guns and the really big directed energy weapons they are working on in real life. COOL!!!! :o) JDF PS The gap between Science Fiction futuristic fisualization and actual real time development is closing quickly. There's no telling what they really have developed behind the scenes. Some examples are the previoudly posted information about downloading memories into machines similar to "toasters" AKA Centurions, as well as virtual reality like on Caprica. Cylons are becoming an actual possibility. Drones already exist. Directed energy weapons are already in advanced stages of development. Science Fiction is becoming real time science reality! Please offer your views, opinions, and science fiction and/or reality observations. :o) JDF
