Hello Fleetmates! Fresh off the press by Raven's CAG, we have the proper way to NOT frak up your Raptor on launch! That's right, the Startup sequence for your raptor, from inspection to launch tube. It's advised that you have this on you at all times in your flight suit. If you see a raptor driver doing this wrong, please gently point it out to them!

SO SAY WE ALL!

  • Well said ENS Wedge. Great explanation.

  • Your fellow Seekers can surely use this! :-)

  • 15 down is the default, as we're going from a place of oxygen (the maintenance deck) to a place of no oxygen. Any oxygen in the lift would cause a violent decompression. The 15 down will reflect the blast from the oxygen away from the raptor's easily damageable systems. Plus, 15 degrees down is the regular for intra-atmosphere operations, so if you have to dart into a planet for some reason you don't need to worry about changing that if you're under fire.

  • Wedge,

surely when launching from a battlestar into  space, the use of flaps is irrelevant as they can only be used in atmospheric flight?

  • Great data, thanks for the information.
