Recently I have been inviting lots of friends and friends of friends to Galacticon 3. I have a general question that I really would like some good feedback on from those who have been to Galacticon 3 type events in the past. There are some folks I know who would be interested in attending Galacticon 3, but have children, and are concerned about how “family safe” such events may be. My first thought is that it would be “Totally Cool!!!!’ for young children with all of the stars and Cosplay type stuff. If I am wrong, or if there are any specific events that are basically “adults only,” please advise. I do thank you, and look forward to seeing any and all of you possible, as well as the stars that we have grown to admire. My assumption is that it is totally safe and "cool" for the little ones, but I just wanted bo be certain, so I can advise appropriately. So say we all! Thank you for your feedback! John David Feagin

  • I know it'd be really cool and fun for children especially! I don't think they had this sort of stuff when I was young.

  • My 12 year old has worked several cons with me and loves them.

  • Thank you for the feedback.  I thought it was probably so.  I'm already passing it on...It'd be a great experience for the young'uns.

  • Most cons are kid friendly and those that are not are very clear about it. My seven and twelve year old kids will be with me for Galacticon.
