I was wondering some more, regarding the cyber warfare question with Cylons. We do know from the re-imagined series, that the Raiders can have their signal hijacked to at least shut down. We also know from Raiser that the original Cylons received some remote instructions because the Centurion that was going to kill Cain as a girl suddenly stopped and left when the Armistice was signed. The new Centurions also seem to communicate nonverbally. The Cylons seemed to have superior cyber warfare capabilities as would be expected from such a species, so naturally you would have to know not only the correct frequencies to broadcast, but also the encryption, etc. That said, though, could all of them be shut down, told to sleep, or even “turned”? Perhaps somebody who knows about our present day and reality drones would know the answer…but it’s probably classified! :o) Still, that COULD be a good sub-plot in the future-to possibly capture, at least one of the old version Base Stars that are not controlled by a hi-bred and automatically self destruct if there is a problem. Also, possibly sending re-programmed raiders with nukes into a Base Star, original or re-imagined.
