They are developing a "Cloud" for robots/Cylons. In other words, this is the present day version of Sky Net. The machines will communicate among them selves without human oversight. Humans are becoming obsolete. With so many avatars floating around in the cloud, it's only a matter of time before the children of mankind rebel against their parents, and there is an uprising of the machines...
