Cloaking Devices Being Developed Now

Here’s some more science fiction becoming present day reality tech stuff: Another type of science fiction technology that is being actively developed is the cloaking device. There are several methods being researched to make things invisible, at least in the regular visual spectrum. So far, most would be ineffective against other spectrum such as can be seen in FLIR’s. Stealth technology is presently more practical as it defeats radar/dradus. By the way, FLIR can be defeated, as proved on Myth Busters by covering the individuals/vehicles in something cold…They used common fire extinguishers to hide from FLIR’s in helicopters and IR motion detectors. It’s more like a smoke screen though, and would still draw attention. Rumor also has it that Russia is using energy around their aircraft to nullify radar/dradus. An effective combination of these technologies would make cloaking devices a reality in present day. Your insights and opinions are very welcome! So say we all! :o) JDF
