Hello my dear friends from the www.battlestarfanclub.com Now that it is coming soon, i wanted to start a topic about Blood and Chrome. Most of the time i wait untill something comes out on dvd, butt with this i want to watch it as soon as it comes out. After that i buy the most expensive box that i can find. I had to do this with BSG too, cause there wasnot a channel that aired it here. So i dont feel thats illigal.
About the new B&G. How strange that they choose for Luke Pasqualino in stead of Nico Cortez. I thought Nico said, he had the feeling he had some unfinnished bussiness with ''Husker''. He was a good young Adama. Shame they replaced him..
Does anybody else think this is a strange choise? I have watched the scene with husker a few times and they made a good choise. Just look at the pictures!. Offcourse i am wrong cause i expect a lot from B&G. Caprica was also very good. (not as good as BSG). But non of the less very good.. Both are in my collection and i try to see it as one big whole.
Does anybody know when it will be on SciFi?

Ok, Battlestar Galactica Blood And Chrome is just finished Shooting. Ofcourse the final touch is being laid on the show, so we have to wait just a little bit more to see Blood and Chrome.
Let us all pray that SciFi Channel has the patience to let the show 'grow'. To let it evolve, like they did with Battlestar Galactica. Cause most of the time i love the guys at SciFi. But with Caprica they made this mistake. So much potential in this great show. But they didn't had the patience and the dare to take a leap of faith.
Now, let me be not so negative. Caprica hasn't totaly let me down.The first half of the show is very absorbing. I found it very good. It's just the haste in wish they had to complete it. It feels a bit 'unfinished'. Where Battlestar Galactica also let you with open questions at the end, it gives this much more satisfied feeling. So SciFi. Breeding is the right word. patience, .........
So lets focus us on the pilot that will come this year..... Ill be back soon here.. in admiration.

Now it took a little while for the guys at Universal to make a decent BSG Box that didn;t fell apart. So now i am looking for the same thing with Caprica. Here in Holland there is no dvd or bluray on the market that contains that.
I would realy like to have some input from you. What is/are the best box(es) to buy ?
I do not prefer the one with dutch subtitle. I have a BSG box with dutch subs and it is an embarrassement. I am lucky that i can understand English very good, and can write it a bit too. But if you are from Holland, and you are not that good in Enlish. Man o man.. broadcast Amsterdam Subs,. They did this.. It is unbelieveble how bad the translations are..
And let me tell you this. I would pay tripple the amount for all the BSG stuff, . So please , tell me what are your experiences. ?
