Has there been any talk of a "Big Screen" BSG motion picture? I think it would go over huge ! But, I admit, I am a little biased. I personally think it could launch Battlestar just as it did Star Trek. JMHO.

I think Singer is off the project as he was most recently linked to a Logan's Run remake I believe but I could be wrong. A lot of pieces need to fall in place for anything to happen but Universal knows they have a property that is capable of greatness..and great profits. I'm sure there are plans for something but with the push for universe building who knows what they have in mind.
The last I heard was it had A writer and director;I heard that Bryan Singer, who was to be behind the re-imagined series for fox in the early '00s,was interested in A movie project; However, with the passing of richard hatch,There seems to be no consulting inspiration for the time being;However, as richard always said,we must continue to keep the faith,and hopefully someday this next evolution of BSG will be going flank speed again.
There was talk of a series of films but it has been silent for a while now. They won't let it die off, it has staying power as evidenced by this club! We just need to be patient. It took a long time to re-imagine it in '04. I don't want them to rush. Find the right people and the right script!
