Hello Here's another picture of me with my totaly selfmade uniform with helmet, it was at the JAPAN EXPO convention in Paris last year

So glad everyone is sending me a warm welcome.  Will get more involved as soon as I can, but at the moment may be facing surgery, so will not be at a high level of participation at the moment.  Hope to talk to all soon, JBR

thank you for the comment, i do have an outfit from the original series my jacket was made by slimfitjackets as you listed but i had to change the buckles for they are not accurate.

Thank you for welcoming me to the BG Fan club! Its funny how time flies by so fast; I was 12 when the original series came out and loved very episode. Now, the kids children watch the show, glued to the TV just like I was. Thanks again for all the info and awesome links!

Hi John Thank you for welcoming me to your Battlestar . I'm an old skool of Battlestar.

From the original series the eps : Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Fire in Space , & the Living legend & Hand of God are among favorites. A great dialog exchange between Adama & Commandant Leiter ( Baltar's Escape) . If you are the Strongest Military force in the universe ? How do you explain the ' Galactica' ?  Your Battlestar is quite impressive however it is but a single warship . We would dispatch it as the wolfpack does the bear. Have you seen the 'Living Legend project? It's Brilliant .I remember reading the book &  colonel Tigh remarking on both ' Galactica & Pegasus joining forces. 'Its just like the old days been able to launch off 2 Battlestars. Michelle Forbes did an Amazing job as Admiral Cain .It would be great if Ronald D Moore did the 1st Cylon War series .To actually see the Battlestar 's in their prime . Starbuck said it best in 'Greetings from Earth part 2. 'You have never seen a Battlestar fight' .Brilliant. So Say We All.
