Welcome to the Club April. We are especially pleased you are considering the Raven as your Ship Chapter. We have six great Viper Squadrons and the most active Raptor Squadron in the Fleet. They can direct you to the information to become a certified Viper and/or Raptor Pilot. We have a Deck Crew and a Bridge Crew, both of which could use an engineer. We have a Marine Detachment, Medical Staff and even a Chaplain Historian. Many Units you may enjoy. You can join the Battlestar Raven right now or later by going to the "Groups" tab above. You can only join one ship, like the Raven, but you can join any other non-ship Group you want, and Raven has many of these related Groups, like the Costuming Club UK. If you start as a pilot, then when pilot requirements (there's a Manual) are completed, you will be commissioned, select a Squadron, select or earn a unique call-sign, and be assigned a Tail Number and position in the Squadron. There are plenty of other assignment options if you wish. Just ask us any questions. We're all here for the Friendship and the fun. See you on deck. Again, welcome aboard. Paul "Iceworm" Oakley, Gunnery Sergeant (Gunny), NCOIC, Battlestar Raven Colonial Marine Detachment.
