The Pyramid Project

This is an interactive, ongoing project designed to explore everyone's creativity. The central theme is mythology & the object is to add in your own creative way a bit to the project...be it a picture, a poem, a story, music or a video...it just has to have some relevence to the central theme of mythology as well as to Battlestar Galactica (please namecheck BSG)...just bear this in mind: There are those who believe...that life here began out there, far across the Universe...with tribes of humans...who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians...or the Toltecs...or the Mayans...that they may have been the architects of the Great Pyramids...or the lost civilizations of Lemuria...or Atlantis.
Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man...who even now fight to survive--somewhere beyond the heavens!

This is from the Alan Parsons project...Sirius/Eye in the sky...from their work Eye in the sky which had an Egyptian theme to it...and exemplifies in turn the mythology of Battlestar Galatica...

Here are two links on interesting books/theories on the Pyramids.

The first is about the pyramids being power plants.

The second is about the pyramids being weapons of mass destruction.

This is a pretty decent video on the Pyramids and the Cycles of Destruction. It starts out REALLY slow, but gets informative toward the end. You might want to skip the first half or 3/4.

Sarcophagus Of Gilgamesh (Sumerian Version Of Noah) Reportedly Found In Iraq

IF this is real and not some sort of fake, it's the BEST PRESERVED MUMMY I have ever seen! It's reported to have been found in Iraq when the US troops were going through archaeological finds there. Gilgamesh was mentioned, but there's no way to tell from this if it was Gilgamesh or just some other famous guy that they mummified. This would probably have happened about ten years ago.

For Those Of You Who Know Star Trek lore, There Was A Race Of Bipedal Beings Known As The 'Preservers',Who long Time Ago Seeded Many worlds,Including Klingons,Romulans,Cardassians,et.al, With Humanoids; So, the Notion That Life here Beginning Out there Is Not Too Far fetched; Of Course,Don't try To Convince One Who Is Firmly into Creationism Instead of Evolution!

Hi Nova Arturian.  Well, i dont find it weird.  Yes, it is in the show.  But even if there is no truth to it.  It is a well good thought.

Elosha, the scriptures say that Life here began Out there..  i love that thought.  No doubt that there is life out there ...therefore the universe is too big ..

Interessting group here.  i love to filosofy and think at the mythical old days.  And how far far away we are from where we realy came from..
