"There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the heavens."

Exactly the same thoughts I have Captain Hitman! I wish the Flying Tigers squadron and the whole crew of the Raven the very best this holiday season. May our gun sights be full of toasters and may our ammo not run out until we get every last one of them!!!

Good Hunting!!!

We plan to have two training CAPs on October 6th...one at 2pm Eastern for our members in the UK, and one at 8pm for US. If you are a new pilot, we hope to see you there to show how the Caps go....and to have fun! The only requirement is to make sure you have a copy of your Viper/Raptor startup checklist handy. I will be leading one and assistant CAG, Joseph "Vampire" Vogt, will lead the other.

Hi Ens. Snapshot,

I should have mentioned yesterday that all the squadron emblems and anything to do with Battlestar Raven were created by our CO "Dragon Lady." She rose through the ranks here with many years of hard work and she is now the President of the BFC.

When you mentioned there was something wrong with our squadron emblem, the BFC moderator Paul "Iceworm" Oakley was the most likely person to have corrected the problem.

At one time, and possibly still, all types of items such as T shirts, cups, patches ect, ect were for sale at the Raven website. Even still, they might be available, so check it out and ask around.

I stepped down from my position as commander of the Flying Tigers a couple years ago. I recommend any fan of BSG who joined the BFC as a pilot to take the time to study and pass the Viper exam to earn their wings. While they're at it, take the Raptor and the Ops exams as well. If you recall, Adm. Adama wore the badges of Senior Pilot Wings, Raptor badge and other medals. In the spirit of Adama's character and his ability to pilot any small craft is the reason I urged my pilots to follow in his footsteps.

Good Hunting!!!

Good evening Captain Mik Mo. That seems to be an old SOP which was that there should be not 1, but 2 assistant SC's per squadron. The Flying Tigers had two while was their CO. I don't know if Captain Hitman chose a replacement when he was given command of the squadron.

Command has authorized the position of Assistant Squadron Commander for each squadron in the Air Wing. This position is essentially 2nd in command for the SC. Requirements remain the same as for Squadron Commanders, which can be found here:

If you are ready to take on the responsibility, contact your Squadron Commander immediately!
