Raven Marine OIC- Brigadier Gen. Eduardo "Enforcer"
Raven Marine NCOIC- Master Gunnery Sergeat- Paul "Iceworm" Oakley
What is it like to be a Marine aboard the Raven you ask? I believe the General Orders that all new Marine Recruits have to know and memorize will tell it all.
-To take charge of this post and all BFC property in view
-To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
-To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.
-To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guardhouse than my own. IE: in the event of a COMM breakdown, all orders must be yelled or verbally given to the next sentry no matter the distance from the next post and so on...until the entire unit knows the same order issued.
-To quit my post only when properly relieved.
-To receive, obey and pass on to the sentry who relieves me all orders from the Executive Officer, Detachment commander, and officers, both commissioned and non-commissioned, of the guard only.
-To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
-To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
-To call the MarDet Commander or the XO in any case not covered by instructions.
-To salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased.
-To be especially watchful at all times, especially wartime, and to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

Reporting in.
it has been a very productive yahren so far for me. I haven't been aboard ship, wow, in a while but I have been keeping and even spreading the faith. I have been keeping my training up to date and have been hunting toasters on several occasions (airsoft/milsim). Needless to say, the RCM patch gets some attention at these events. Also, I've been keeping myself busy at the Canceron Shipyards with a steady flow of ships to include what I think is the Raven's first close air support Raptor for my fellow Marines. I promise to be more of a presence on here starting now. Take care.
Bullet
Good Evening,
I just wanted to take a moment of my time to here to say hello everyone especially to new members! I know I don't often get in here enough due to real life responsibilities but I will make an effort. But in my absence, you can always rely on the Raven Marine NCOIC Paul "Iceworm" Oakley and or Raven Marine Charlie Detachment Commander Rob "Skyblaster" Hillman, to take care of matters at hand.

Well said Bullet. And all the best to you and the Unit in the New Year.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. Looking forward to a new year and new experiences. So Say We All.
Thank you Iceworm for the warm Birthday wishes. As much as I would like to make it a full week long party.....I have work to do. Mainly, putting together a presentable uniform and some work related items. At the moment, I am brushing up on my Colonial history by studying "video files" from the "first Cylon war". The better you understand your enemy, the easier you can defeat him. Standing by for further instructions........
Happy Birthday Ben "Bullet" Howard. Make it a weeks long celebration and enjoy. Glad to have you aboard.
Sending out a mass friend request to all RCM. I am looking forward to serving/visiting with you all.
Thank you Iceworm for accepting my application to join the RCM. I am standing by and waiting for orders. As far as call signs go, has anyone claimed "Bullet"? I thought I would run this by my fellow Marines...if not and if possible, I would like to request this as my callsign. I sent a group msg to everyone...then found the forum...lol sorry folks, still getting the hang of this awesome site. I look fwd to visiting with all. As mentioned in my group msg...I am assembling my Colonial Marine uniform so I can attend Konsplosion in Fort Smith, Arkansas later this summer. I am also getting into milsim style airsoft and am thinking about putting together a RCM airsoft team. Are there any RCMs close to me? I am located in Central Ar.
So Say We All
