"There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the heavens."

JULY 1, 2020 - 20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT ALL-CON DALLAS 2020

Ambrosia, Absinth, and Artemis Brew - all good things can be found at Cupid's Bombshell, where the Gun Crews come to take some shots from the bartender's arsenal.

Anything Off-topic, discussions and comments are welcome here. Feel free to get to know the Crews and Gunners, and make sure to our specialty: Toaster Shredder served in an empty shell that has almost no explosives left in it!

What's the life of a humble gunner like?

In both the original and the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series, we often got an in-depth look at the lives of Viper- and Raptor-Pilots. But what about the unsung heroes of the Colonial Fleet?
Where do the Gun Crews go after the fight is over, how do they celebrate and how do they prepare for the next time when they have to climb into that turret and bring fire and destruction to the enemy?
How about some music to deal with the fallout?

I'd be very interested to read what people think life is like down there, between the big guns and a magazine full of high explosive ordnance!

We need to make a drink menu filled with more gunnery-themed puns :^)
I recommend "Slightly Sober Sabot" for starters.

Happy Birthday to Cpt. 'Mik Mo' Morelock, the kind founder and supporter of this group!

May the Lords of Kobol look kindly upon our CAG, who will bring fire and steel to the toasters!

Following the 40th anniversary of the First Cylon War, representatives of the Twelve Colonies addressed the assembled Quorum of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol. This is the voice of Tauron.

* To celebrate Battlestar Galactica's 40th anniversary, I think it might be interesting to think how the War and the Cylon threat are perceived by the different colonies. With that goal in mind, I tried to capture some Tauron spirit.

the holidays are upon us and it is time for the gunnery to send out best wishes to all members of the BSG Fan Club!

Ambrosia flows again!

A few barrels stacked on top of one another at the back of an empty arsenal, the pneumatics of a mothballed oxygen pump, a few dozen empty shells and a handful of glowsticks from the recovery deck - that's all it takes to get the distillery running again.
With the last bottles of Ambrosia and moonshine right from the tab, Cubid's Cantina opens its doors again to celebrate the gun crew's everyday struggle as well as any special occasion.

At the center of the bar, there's the all-important trophy for all battery detachments to aspire to: whoever scores the most kills during the next toaster attack, will lift the sharpshooter's stein in the name of the dead and the living.

Let the Ambrosia flow again,
So Say We All!

Happy Halloween!

When times are dire and a Cylon strike could come at any time, it is all the more important to clear the mind once in a while and relax for just long enough not to go insane. This is why the Gun Crews prepare a feast of original Tauronese Pumpkin soup and spiced ambrosia to go along with spooky decorations all over the mess halls.

For one day, at least, let's immerse ourselves in creepy stories from the lower decks and celebrate the last days before the coming of winter.

So Say We All!
